…with an array of cleverly chosen fabrics and textures giving each part of the collection a new tune. You see daring fabrics of goat hair reminiscent to Charlie Le Mindu. Chic & elegant yet provocative sheer sweeps of chiffon, bouts of velvet, blocks of verticals that continue throughout…Not for getting the flash of fine golden zippers that delicately outline… *I have warm Chanel memories*….. Thigh high slit pencils that take me back to the best part of the 90′s and visual bursts of the seasons most demanded electric blue and tangerine…and oh! the oil slick ocean green! Kimono crop tops that I must have and did you seeee that jewelry curtesy of Symphony Diamonds. Swoon.
Her Inspiration?….. “I was loosely inspired by current natural disasters/ resources, highlighting their heavily involved coexistence, executed through colour palette and textile choice. There is also a touch of Asian cinema seen within the silhouettes bringing the collection back to my roots of Chinese/ Filipino”

When we asked Marian what inspired her to create this design “I wanted to use the classic Minx effects I.e. Gold and Minxlusion – but together and with a little twist. I love the delicacy and positivity of oriental symbolism, so chose the symbol for ‘longevity’ for the Minxlusion bit. So, it’s gold but when the light hits it..the colours go wild! I love all the designs but I’ve been wearing this more than any other so it seems to be a favourite!”
We love it so much too! Longevity is available now. Just ask your Minx Stylist to have it for your next Minxing!
